Hartz ultraguard pro for cats, Does it work?

I got this product at wall-mart last night and treated my cat with it. She goes outside quite often. About a month ago my husband spread tick granduals on the yard and this helped alot keeping the ticks off the cat and the kids. I got this product just to give an extra boost for the tick and flea protection. She is a great mouser but I was afraid of her getting parasites from mice and birds she kills outside, so I put a collar with a bell on it around her neck. I don't want to keep her in the house all the time. She refuses to use a litter box unless it is raining or super-cold outside. She goes outside like a dog would. Fine with me, keeps the house from smelling. My question is does this product (hartz ultragaurd pro for cats) work well? Is there something better? I wanna become an architect too! Gonna be a freshman in high school. I don't think it hogs all of your time away. Usually they just work in offices like a normal businessman...sometimes they go out to the construction site. Maybe if you were working on a big project at the moment it would take a lot of time..but I'm pretty sure you would still be able to show your horses. You have to be good at math, but you'll learn everything you need to know in school and special architectural classes/colleges. I may be wrong, but being a landscape architect seems like it would be more of an inside job. If you only care about the surface and beauty, being a landscape architect is probably better for you. However if you love nature and want to make actually make a difference, I would say be an Environmental Scientist. No, I think the demand will be flat. Architects are always coming out--some are good some are not, & some gets good jobs & some do not. I've taken american politics and comparative poltics and found both classes to be pretty boring. I couldn't care less about the political differences between parties and how they fued between each other. However I did taken an ancient and modern philosophy class that had a number of philosophers who wrote about how governments should be set up, ran, and even dismantled. I read a number of theories about how the average citizen should live in order to help the greater good and all these different types of systems. Some of my favourites books have always been fictional stories about dystopian societies such as 1984 and The Iron Heel. I've never taken a political theory class, but would I enjoy it? i'm renting out the first floor of a building as a restaurant in NYC, the building's C of O is not for a restaurant when it was converted 5 yrs ago by previous tenant. I'm aware of the fact that there is no CO and signed a lease that I would have to obtain the C of O no matter the cost. It's been more than a year and a lot of concerns from the NYC building dept has extended the expected time of completion, but it's almost there and I do expect to complete. Money was spent for renovations and architect fees to ensure the approval from the DOB, inspections have been passed but there are more to go. I was too naive to think that it was alright to rent a place with no C of O. If proper authorities find out that the restaurant does not have a CO, that it is being worked on, but the DOB evicts me anyway, will I be able to sue my landlord for expenses paid for renovations and professional fees invested into the building? How are my chances at actually winning the case?

Why won't my motorcycle's throttle close?

Last week I had to replace a broken speedometer cable on my motorcycle, involving a lot of dismantling. Since then, the throttle won't fully close and I found today that when I got up to about 30mph, I tried to close the throttle but it only went down a tiny bit. I've checked and the slide in the carburettor is moving freely, but as soon as it is started up it's revving too high and starts moving as soon as I engage the gear. The cable is in a slightly more awkward position than it was before, but it all seems fine. What do you think is causing it?

i have a 3 year old beagle and she is completely crate trained.whenever she needs to go outside to do her business, she rings the bell attached to the doorknob but today she didn't. All of a sudden she peed on her bed then ran away scared and peed next to our family room couch. i pushed her outside but she immediately peed on the concrete when she got out. Then she started walking down the steps but she was shivering and the way she stepped was like a robot. at the bottom of the stairs she sat down and she was shaking all over,drooling, and her eyes became unfocused. I tried to get her to stand up and go to the grass but once she stood up she started swaying and it looked like her thighs were flexing and unflexing really fast. she finally got to the grass and she lied down and drooled uncontrollably. 5 minutes later she got up really slow and started walking around like nothing happened!! Sign a 3 year contract or buy the phone outright?

Hey guys I'm just wondering if someone can give me some helpful advice as I've been battling with these 2 ideas for awhile now. I've taken american politics and comparative poltics and found both classes to be pretty boring. I couldn't care less about the political differences between parties and how they fued between each other. However I did taken an ancient and modern philosophy class that had a number of philosophers who wrote about how governments should be set up, ran, and even dismantled. Im 29 years old and just found out I am pregnant with my third child. During my second pregnancy, toward the end, I noticed a weakening in the right side of my face and was then diagnosed with bells palsy. Fortunately I recovered after only a few weeks, which included being on a steroid treatment. Its been just over 2 years and I am now pregnant with my third child and was wanting to know if I am more likely to get Bells Palsy again. I never suffered from it during my first pregnancy, only my second. Although it didn't last long it was still quite distressing and would hate to go through it again.

Why do i always need a pen in my hand?

What to do as an Aspiring Architect?

Recently I feel like I've been wasting a lot of time this summer with regards to my major goal in life: becoming an architect. I am going to be a senior in highschool and I was wondering if anyone with experience tell me something I can do that will prepare me better. Like developing skills or something, i just feel like I'm wasting an oppertunity to become better. I am already doing a decent amount of studying for AP classes this summer and I'm registered for the architecture class for next school year. Does anyone remember this old children's book about a dragon?

I have a vague memory of this one picture book from when I was a kid but we don't have it anymore and I can't find it in Google. It centered around a little boy who went to fight a dragon because everyone in his village was afraid of it. But when the dragon comes out of the cave, it turns out he is not a real dragon at all but one made out of springs, gears, and clockwork bits. I can't remember any more details of the plot except I think one of the reasons everyone was afraid of it was the loud clanging sound it made when it walked. The illustrations were all in reds, oranges, browns, and blacks I think... but it is all so hazy! Does this ring a bell to anyone else? Based on my memory of it, our copy was probably published between 1950 - 1965. It would be great of someone else remembers this because it is driving me nuts!

Is the bell jar by sylvia plath a good book for a 16 year old boy to read? is it more for girls?

Honestly, I think it's a good book for anyone. It's a classic novel written by a very good poet, and I feel like the story and the writing can be appreciated by all sorts of people. I especially think it's good for teenagers too because it gives a very accurate depiction of Esther Greenwood (actually Sylvia Plath) dealing with depression in her adolescence. Not saying you have to be depressed to read it, but I think it still covers a lot of issues teens still deal with even though it was written in the early 60's. Also the fact that the author and main character are women doesn't mean it's not a book guys can read. The main character in The Catcher in the Rye is a guy, but a lot of girls still really like and relate to that book. There are a few "womanly" issues mentioned, like her buying birth control, but that still shouldn't turn a guy off from reading it. In short, yes it's a good, and yes, I think you should read it.

Does anyone remember the title of an 80s- or 90s-era comedy film about a young girl who is telling her class about "what she did this past summer"? Her recitation is a lurid tale of her being "helped" by two well-meaning but very intoxicated hippie-guys in an old rusty dilapidated station-wagon, and they both tell her that their name is "Jim". The two Jims get into all kinds of trouble --- picking up a dead fat man who is sprawled beside the road, getting thrown in jail because the cops mistakenly suspect them of having murdered the bloated sop (but then immediately escaping because the inept jailers neither guarded the cells nor even locked the cell door), getting their car stuck in the mud, drunkenly mistaking the "William Tell Overture" for a selection from Air Supply (or possibly "Megadeth", I can't recall for sure), and so on.
