What am i doing wrong with my strimmer?

I have been given a bosch garden strimmer as a present and when i use it the plastic wire keeps breaking and disappearing inside the spool and i have to keep dismantling it and pulling the plastic wire out then putting it back together and then within a few mins it happens again. Please help.
