Has anyone tried Diatomaceous Earth to eliminate bed bugs?

I found a couple of bed bugs in my room and got rid of them with insecticides then i did not get bit for over 3 or 5 months and i guess they ended up moving to the other bedroom in the apartment so we sprayed the other room and 2 days after day i found one bed bug back in my room again and it bit me twice!!! i dont know what to do any more i have THOROUGHLY INSPECTED MY DISMANTLED MY BED AND NOT FOUND ANY BUGS i only have seen about 5 in my room
