What is your world view on the evolving or dismantling of the gay community?

I don't believe in the gay "community" as such, since being gay does not define who we are. It's only a single aspect of us, something we may have in common, but not something that should separate us. If anything, all minority communities should mingle and form one large community if people ever want to find a sense of belonging and of unity.
